The Firestop Joist Shield mounts between the ceiling joist with the plate side pointing down. The Firestop provides the 2 in. clearance necessary for combustible material.
SuperPro and SuperVent models are compatible with each other according to the manufacturer. The 6 in. & 8 in. diameters are the SuperPro model (compatible with SuperVent). The 7 in. diameter is the SuperVent model (compatible with SuperPro).
